Overview
Software Developer - CRM - team lead assignment with the Government Services Integration Cluster. The role provides technical leadership and hands-on delivery for Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Case Management solutions, including out-of-the-box capabilities and custom development. The engagement involves Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Dataverse, enterprise integrations, Agile/Scrum delivery, CI/CD, production support, and the use of Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, Agents, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve productivity and solution delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to developers and technical team members.
- Lead by example as a hands-on contributor while enabling team success and delivery excellence.
- Perform code reviews and establish development standards, security controls, and best practices.

- Coach and mentor developers, supporting their technical and professional growth.
- Act as a subject matter expert and ensure effective transfer of solution-critical knowledge.
- Architect, design, and implement Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Case Management solutions using both out-of-the-box capabilities and custom development.
- Provide strong expertise in Dataverse design and development, including data modelling, table relationships, business rules, security architecture, plug-ins, workflows, data migration, and system integrations.
- Design scalable and secure enterprise solutions leveraging Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and Dataverse.
- Develop architecture artifacts, including contextual, conceptual, logical, and physical solution designs.
- Define technical roadmaps, integration patterns, and solution deployment strategies.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to refine and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop detailed technical designs, sprint plans, and work breakdown structures within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
- Build and configure Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, custom connectors, plugins, and integrations.
- Design and implement APIs and integrations with internal and external enterprise systems.
- Lead functional workstreams and coordinate activities across developers, testers, business SMEs, and project teams.
- Support application deployments, releases, troubleshooting, and ongoing production support.
- Design and implement integrations using Azure services and enterprise integration patterns.
- Develop cloud-native solutions utilizing Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, App Services, Storage Services, and Key Vault.
- Ensure solution scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.
- Lead CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Establish automated deployment and testing practices.
- Ensure adherence to software engineering principles, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage development environments and support large-scale solution deployments.
- Leverage AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, Agents, and Large Language Models (LLMs), to improve productivity, development practices, solution design, and testing approaches.

Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of software development experience, including enterprise application delivery.
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing CRM, case management, or business process solutions using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Minimum 3 years in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Solution Lead role.
- Experience leading cross-functional Agile delivery teams.
- Experience delivering solutions in complex enterprise or public-sector environments.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, App Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Microsoft Dataverse, Data Modelling, Security Framework, Business Rules, and Data Integration.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with .NET / C#, REST APIs and Web Services, JavaScript / TypeScript, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and enterprise integration and middleware technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing complex integrations across multiple business systems.
- Strong understanding of API-led architecture, cloud integration patterns, and enterprise software design.
- Experience creating high-level and detailed solution designs.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
- Must have prior "Lead" experience as a MS Dynamics Developer.
- Minimum 7 years of software development and enterprise application delivery experience.

- Working knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration and capability with other Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Working knowledge of both low code development and custom development on Dynamics 365.
- Experience with Dynamics CRM Customer Service Workspace, Agent experience profile, Session templates, workstream, and routing.
- Experience with custom Web API development, ASP.NET, .Net Core, Entity Framework, Azure SQL, DevOps, and CI/CD Pipelines.
