Overview
Justice Technology Services requires a Level 3 Software Developer with 10 years of experience to support and maintain all existing web applications and develop new web-based initiatives. The role requires extensive experience working with GeoTalent, including the GeoTalent development environment (TP Macro Language and TP environment), to build front-end (web) and back-end (administrative console) features.
The VOR Master Service Agreement expires on April 5, 2027, and includes a six (6)-month survival clause, allowing the Statement of Work (SOW) to continue, if operationally required, until October 5, 2027. Extension(s) are only allowed using unused days and/or funds remaining on the contract. No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value and any extension options included in the original SOW. JTS may exercise its option(s) to extend the SOW beyond April 5, 2027, in accordance with the survival clause.
The start date is subject to change based on security clearances and contract signing timelines.
Responsibilities
• Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
• Develop detailed programming specifications.
• Write and/or generate code and compile data-driven programs, maintain applications, and conduct unit tests.
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.
Knowledge Transfer
• Code & Documentations of all type assigned for this role.
• Transfer knowledge to the Project Manager / Team members.
• Conduct knowledge transfer through 1:1 meetings, team meetings, and documentation on SharePoint and DevOps site throughout the duration of the project life cycle.
Mandatory Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience working with GeoTalent, including working within the GeoTalent development environment (TP Macro Language and TP environment), to build front-end (web) and back-end (administrative console) features.
• 8+ years of .NET experience.
• Experience with and knowledge of databases, including data modeling and SQL programming skills with the ability to write queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Level 3 with 10 years of experience is required to support and maintain all existing web applications as well as develop new web based initiatives.
