Overview
Lead a Proof of Concept (POC) initiative to assess the feasibility of migrating the existing Public Accounts consolidation application, CONSOL, from the legacy Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) solution to Oracle’s Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS).
The project will encompass the assessment of current and future state, configuration of environment/application, and build of POC to assess the migration of the CONSOL application. It will also help infer future project plan, tasks, and duration and inform the future costing for the full-scale migration of CONSOL to FCCS.
Responsibilities
• Lead a Proof of Concept (POC) initiative to assess the feasibility of migrating the existing Public Accounts consolidation application, CONSOL, from the legacy Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) solution to Oracle’s Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS)
• Assess current and future state.
• Configure the environment/application.
• Build a POC to assess migration of the CONSOL application.
• Help infer the future project plan, tasks, and duration.
• Inform future costing for the full-scale migration of CONSOL to FCCS.
• Provide client support on production support, consult with vendors, consultants, and peers to manage and address application issues.
• Lead, gather and analyze business requirements, identifying impact on policies/processes, prepare cost benefit analyses and make recommendations.
• Participate on committees and project status meetings.
• Develop presentations and facilitate user requirement gathering.
• Deliver presentations/findings to clients, stakeholders and senior managers at the appropriate detail.
Mandatory Qualifications
• Oracle EPM Cloud solutions and design knowledge and experience.
• Applications expertise to assist in the analysis, solution and design of migrating existing HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) consolidation application.
• Experience implementing and providing support for the migration of large financial applications.
• Knowledge and experience using financial planning, management accounting, and reporting applications such as forecasting, consolidations and public accounts.
• A strong financial background and past experience in designing and migrating Oracle Consolidation applications.
• Ability to gather client business requirements; corporate I&IT information mandates, client information technology strategic plans, environment and standards.
• Ability to participate in the development of solutions and provide advice on short/long term solution service development activities.
• Knowledge of leading edge technologies design criteria, security and recovery procedures, preparation of technical specifications for installation, testing and performance of integrated, multi-services systems; assess performance and capacity of existing system making recommendations for improving performance and develop technical documentation.
• Experience planning, migrating, implementing and sustaining large complex system development projects.
• Knowledge of technology developments, trends and new products to evaluate application to client short and long term technology requirements.
• Basic knowledge of project management methodology (e.g. PMBOK), analytical tools and processes.
• Conceptual and analytical skills to assess and evaluate client needs and conduct cost/benefit analyses for new technology requirements in planning and designing solutions.
• Experience designing and developing large, complex, highly available, mission critical server applications.
• Experience with systems evaluation to assess conditions, technical performance and capacity of existing systems and determine need and feasibility of expansion, renovation or replacement.

• Must be able to attend an in-person interview and complete an assignment/presentation; consultants who cannot come onsite will be declined.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Service) is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Prior OPS or public sector experience.
